2009 Dolcetto Wins Gold at NW Wine Summit, May 2011.

*Northwest Wine Summit 2011 Gold Medal
The 2009 vintage was produced under moderate weather conditions, never too hot or too cool. The vintage has shown well providing wines with moderate acidity with its own smooth elegance and long lasting flavors.
For Stag Hollow's early muscat and muscat ottonel, this was the perfect combination of conditions to produce smooth dry muscat, with hints of apricot, apple blossom and peach.

tastings by appointment In Vineyard tasting room
May 1, 2008
Stag Hollow's newly redesigned tasting room is available for wine tastings by appointment. We try to accommodate, but an appointment made a few days in advance usually is necessary to arrange a tasting. No busses or long limos because of sharp turns in our road and turning radius.

2005 Reserve Pinot Noir earns a double Gold medal at the wine press Northwest judging
Our 2005 Reserve Pinot Noir won acclaim with a double gold medal at the Wine Press Northwest Platinum Judging of gold medal winning wines from the Pacific Northwest.
Wine Press NW Platinum tasting in December 2008. Here is the quote:
“Mark Huff & Jill Zarnowitz launched this small winery and vineyard in 1994 near the town of Yamhill, Ore. Through the years, they have quietly produced some of the state’s most distinctive Pinot Noirs. This reserve -level wine reveals aromas of Rainier cherries, leather and hints of vanilla and orange oil, followed by flavors of black cherries, minerally earth and black pepper. It’s a smooth wine from entry through the memorable finish.”
You can purchase this wine here . For more information on the judging, click Wine Press NW . Also earned a Gold Medal at the 2008 Northwest Wine Summit.
